The Alpine Camp is a treasure in Lake Arrowhead, CA and has the perfect open and green area for lush outdoor weddings and receptions. We wanted to bring the heat to this mountain terrain with the look of lush tropical flowers which blended in perfectly with the landscape. Though the floral colors were bright, there was an edge of moodiness in the emotion of our couple as they flaunted a deep solid love that can stand the test of time.
No floral foam was used in the floral design as an ode to sustainability and loving the environment. We love being creative and using sustainable methods to design florals and leap at the chance every opportunity we get.

Once upon a time life was so simple and less fast paced. There was more time to embrace the beautiful things, to take it all in. Love was not so complex and the joy it brought was pure. We created the perfect vision of a pure love in an open field in Fontana, CA where the beauty of love could be the focus. With nostalgic colors, a tray of beautiful chocolates, gorgeous florals and a classic VW truck we aimed to bring back the sense of adventure in love. We wanted to bring back the enjoyable pleasure of love. The guitar symbolizing the role of music in love where you shared your favorite love songs with your loved one. A box of chocolates used to bring so much pleasure, its the simple things right?! A beautiful table for two where you could enjoy peering into the eyes of your loved one, laugh and have a simple conversation without being interrupted by a cell phone. You could just hop in the car with your lover and go on an adventure, a road trip, see the world, go to the drive in movie, go grab a milkshake or a Starbucks. Back in the day, love was all we needed. Take us back to the retro days when love was simple.
Actually, let’s just bring the retro days back to life!

I was finishing up bridesmaid bouquets the Friday before a beautiful Saturday wedding at Paradise Falls in Oceanside, CA when I get a phone call from a hysterical bride that her venue is being evacuated due to fires rapidly spreading near the property. My heart was so broken for her. Can you imagine your venue catching fire the day before your wedding?
Because of the fires, she would no longer be able to host her wedding there the next day and was frantically searching for a place that could accommodate the couple and their guests. Fortunately, a sister location of her original venue, Los Willows Estate in Fallbrook offered to host the wedding for her on Sunday instead of the original date, Saturday. Now this bride has the absolute sweetest spirit and the kindest heart. I am certain the other vendors would agree that no one wanted to see her disappointed so we ALL made accommodations to be there for her on Sunday and made sure the day was a complete fairytale. Although her florals were pretty much completed on Friday, they held up beautifully for the Sunday wedding. The venue was just as amazing as her original venue, and all ended well. Check out the smiles below.
Warehouse venue’s are ever growing in popularity for the celebrations of life’s occasions. They provide the host with a blank canvas for a beautiful room transformation. I personally enjoy creating something from nothing and this blank space was perfect for creating an intimate wedding with a timeless design that was elegant and classy.
The floral design of the climbing ferns/vines, a faux arch, against the white wall brought the room to life, especially once combined with the glow of candlelight and the greenery of the floral hoops. There was a nice mix of fern, monstera leafs, and bright colored florals for the ceremony area. However, the table centerpiece with the burgundy clooney ranunculus brought a moody edge to the space.
All of the elements of the shoot, from the dessert cart to the quartz cake and the ghost chairs played off of each other nicely bringing trendy elements to a timeless design.

Take me back to this beautiful Lakeside Beach wedding in south Lake Tahoe where the air was crisp, the water was clear and the vibe was energetic and fun. The bride and groom selected beautiful hues of purple and blue to celebrate their wedding day. The brides love of florals, and especially roses were the focus for the floral design, bringing a garden element to the lake shore.
During their courting phase, this couple spent lots of time relaxing on the beach. They captured this pastime during their wedding ceremony with a sand ceremony that blended the sand from all of their favorite beaches. How cool and creative is that?
The scene for this wedding was Gulfport Mississippi where the bride and groom wanted to see green. In fact, the wedding was held at the Hancock Whitney Bank building, which definitely is the place for green (money, get it?). Green was the theme of this wedding with a touch of bayou magic channeling Princess Tiana from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. Lots of ferns were use to create this twinkling bayou look with greenery lining the aisle of the ceremony, climbing vines on the ceremony pip and drape, and a stunning lantern installation on the reception ceiling with greenery mixed in. The lush greenery design on the main wedding cake was gorgeous and paired next to the groom’s cake, a batman cake, to highlight his favorite superhero and his love for saving the day of his bride.
We loved designing lush, luxe cascading florals for this stunning couple who married at their newly built home in Claremont, CA. The bride’s favorite color is purple and the groom wanted blue as a wedding color so the design featured pinks and purples offset by blue linens, bridesmaid gowns, groomsmen suites, and other blue accents. This wedding was a marriage of not only two hearts, but two cultures featuring a broom jumping ceremony (African American tradition) and a Lasso Ceremony (Latino Culture). We really wanted to feature the beautiful design of the couples home by using the trees on the front lawn as focal points. The layout of the home was designed perfectly so guests would feel as if they were at a venue, as opposed to a home wedding.
Welcome to our blog where we share our design inspiration behind the florals for our real weddings and editorial shoots.
